I am a proud Wellingtonian and have lived here for most of life apart from time spent travelling in Asia and Europe in my 20’s and 3 1/2 years living in Sweden.
I have three wonderful adult children who I enjoy spending time with. I believe in living as fully as possible and strive to keep a good balance between the different areas of my life and have been told that I am a friendly, non-judgement person.
As an adult student I completed a B.A.(Psych) at Victoria University followed by a Diploma in Counselling at WelTec. I worked as a counsellor and then Team Leader at Wesley Counselling Service for four years followed by four years at Relationships Aotearoa counselling individuals and couples and co-facilitating the “Parenting Through Separation” programme.
Eight years ago I completed my training to become a Certified Imago Couples Therapist, I have continued to attend further Imago trainings both in New Zealand and overseas and am working towards becoming an Advanced Imago Couples Therapist.
I’m member of The New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC) and I’m Certified Imago Therapist.
